Hi friends! Today in the “What Catch My Eye” series, we’re focusing on a store you might not expect – Home Depot!

Yes, you read that right, Home Depot! Did you know that they have furniture and interiors for every room in your home? They strive to be your one stop shop for everything you need to build, remodel and redecorate your home. This is great!

A few years ago, I was introduced to their furniture and home decor department thanks to a catalog in my mailbox featuring their in-house brand, The Home Decorators Collection. Big thanks to your marketing department for doing a great job creating a magazine-like catalog that showcases your products in a beautiful way – I’m so excited!

Along with the Home Decorators Collection, which is mostly furniture, there is also furniture and home decor from other brands that you may have seen on other sites like Wayfair and Target. The result? A large selection in a variety of styles and price ranges. Nice Home Depot, well done.

Today I want to focus on the home decor collection because these products are exclusive to HD and I don’t think many of you are familiar with them! His overall style tends towards traditional/conventional, which is not something I care for, but I didn’t let that stop me. 🙂 I browsed the collection and found so many great pieces that fall into a few styles that I love – modern farm and boho! This shows that you can find the perfect pieces for your home anywhere; you have to look and explore a bit.

I knew I wanted to work with a professional interior designer to create a stunning space using Home Depot’s StyleWell and Home Decorators Collection lines available online. Of course I love fashion, but interior design is not my thing. I worked with Rachel from Snow Studio to help bring my wild ideas to life.

How To Clean Outdoor Furniture For Long Lasting Use

Rachel came and measured the space and got to know me and our living room needs. Of course the list of needs and requests I gave her was endless, but she worked tirelessly to help create the most amazing place. Most importantly, we wanted the space to be beautiful, but also look like people live there. There’s nothing too delicate and delicate that dogs and babies can’t handle, you know what I mean? If necessary, function meets fashion. And he did it!

Looking at pictures of our living room from a few weeks ago, I can’t believe we’ve lived like this for so long! In zero sense of style or design, the space was very functional for our needs for watching TV and sleeping on the couch, as such. None of the guests disagreed with this layout and I didn’t miss the beer. That was bad. Rachel delved into The Home Depot’s amazing online selection of StyleWell and the Home Decorators Collection because the room was basically an empty cabin.

Although it was a lovely sofa, the gray was too harsh against our lawn clothes. The carpet was very old and full of red wine stains. Otherwise it was very rough, like walking on a wooden floor. We bought this rocker last year thinking it would spruce up the space, but instead it just felt too big and out of place.

It only took two weeks for Rachel to come back with the perfect concept for us, using the best finds from The Home Depot’s StyleWell and Home Decorators Collection. She really took our aesthetic and needs and made it all with Home Depot products, can you believe it?!

Once you’ve decided on a concept and sent a complete overview of the StyleWell and Home Decorators Collection to The Home Depot, it’s time to get started! We ordered everything and it came together quickly. To complete the design, we bought lamps, books and other knick-knacks from the rest of my house to make the living room even more beautiful.

So you can’t die in a drama before and after filming?! The place looks so… grown up! We’ve only been in our newly renovated room for a few weeks, but you all feel right at home. It always seems that way. Safe is a dream
